Bill Penrod
U.S. Windshield Repair

Bio:
In 1990 I started U.S. Windshield Repair in Southern California. I saw windshield repair as a fast growing and exciting opportunity, with several untapped resources. The first challenge was to move away from focusing on wholesale and corporate customers and move to retail customers. It took some time and effort, but the transition has produced a more secure market, increased profit and better working conditions. The second challenge was to improve the quality of the repairs by changing the tools, resins and techniques used on the actual process. Again with time, effort and persistence the objective was achieved. I designed and patented the tools my company sells and have introduced many innovative items to the industry. As a result, technicians are able to do more repairs, with better results and with less effort.

A charter member of the National Windshield Repair Association, I've also served as a board member for the past several years. In both my business and involvement with trade groups, my objective has been the refinement and growth of the windshield repair industry.
