Why Use an NGA Certified Technician? 
 
  • The NGA Certified Auto Glass Repair Technician Program is nationally recognized, designed to enhance professional standards, and jointly developed by the NGA and the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) especially for auto glass repair professionals. 
  •  All certification candidates must have actively participated in the auto glass repair business for at least six months and personally completed 200 or more auto glass repairs, or, have successfully completed an auto glass repair training program and personally completed 200 or more auto glass repairs.
  •  Customers are assured that individuals wearing the " NGA Certified Patch" are knowledgeable technicians whose knowledge of industry.
  • Individual states normally test and license trades entrusted with consumer safety. Only Connecticut licenses auto glass or windshield repair technicians. NGA certification is currently the only impartial source available to consumers to document technician competency.

NGA recommends that you ALWAYS request an NGA Certified Technician for windshield repair or replacement! NGA Certified Technicians carry an identification card and wear a uniform patch that tells you they have passed the NGA examination that verifies they meet industry standards of knowledge for their area of auto glass specialization.

Please note NGA Certified Technicians may be Certified Windshield Repair Technicians; Certified Auto Glass Technicians; Certified Master Auto Glass Technicians or all three.
